    Bettas are shipped Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays to prevent delay over the weekends and at the end of the day to prevent sitting at the post office for any unnecessary length of time.

Please note : photos are taken of individual fish prior to listing using natural lighting or camera flash. Color of fish may vary due to difference in monitor settings, etc. Color (especially iridescent colors) tend to vary under different lighting sources. Also, as the bettas we sell are generally very young (2-3.5months) their color is still developing and may change some from the time photo is taken to the time they arrive at your door, especially in multicolor and marbled varieties. 

Bettas are hardy little shippers and rarely have issues, even with priority mailing. Please know that your betta will likely arrive lacking color (due to stress) and may have chewed its fins during the process. Within a couple days of adjustment in its new home, its color should return to normal. If chewed, fins should regrow very quickly. Your betta will be shipped in a small amount of water treated.
